LEED Gold Award

Judson University’s new Harm A. Weber Academic Center, opened October 2007 in Illinois, has been awarded a LEED Gold Certificate by the US Green Building Council, for its sustainable design and construction. The mixed-use building houses architecture, art and design studios, academic offices and the University library. The hybrid natural/mechanical ventilation design will save at least 50% of the energy of a new good-practice equivalent building.
